Rihanna Tells Rolling Stone: "I'm Back With Chris"

Rihanna is on the cover of the February issue of Rolling Stone magazine. It hits stores on February 1st and it's not the cover photo that's creating buzz about the magazine. It's the fact that she officially comes out in the magazine and opens up about her relationship with Chris Brown in the most specific way yet! She officially says "I'm back with Chris" and that she doesn't care what anybody else thinks about it. She mentions the key being that her and Chris now "Talk about (things)". Is more communication going to allow this relationship to work? or do you feel like she's going to end up calling it a mistake? Let me know -- Maynard

Via [PopCrush]:

"Remember when Rihanna showed off long hair, with ombre, light brown tips and a shaved side? Well, that was done for the singer’s new Rolling Stone cover, which drops on Friday, Feb. 1.

She looks smoldering and sexy, with matte, nude-pink lips. If pouting were an Olympic sport, she’d be a gold medalist. Her waves mysteriously cover one eye. But most importantly, she doesn’t cover up the truth. She confirms her on-off relationship with Chris Brown, saying that “we value each other and know exactly what we have now, and we don’t want to lose that.” She adds: “It’s different now. We don’t have those types of arguments anymore. We talk about s—.”

RiRi also says that she chose to not give a you-know-what about the things people and the media would inevitably say about her reunion with Brown — who famously used her pretty face as a punching bag before the 2009 Grammys. She owns her choice, and doesn’t care who judges her. If it turns out the being “crazy in love” with Brown, as the cover tag suggests, is a mistake, then it’s hers to make. So back off.

“I decided it was more important for me to be happy,” the singer said. “I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.”

But Breezy has one chance and he better not screw it up. She reveals he was not proud of his past indiscretion and what he did to her in 2009 and knows he must walk the straight and narrow, and love her like the strong, goddess-like creature she is.

“He doesn’t have the luxury of f—ing up again,” she said. “That’s just not an option. I can’t say that nothing else will ever go wrong. But I’m pretty solid in the knowing that he’s disgusted by that. And I wouldn’t have gone this far if I ever thought that was a possibility.”

Sounds like Rihanna is a girl who is convinced that Breezy is a changed man and that she is completely and totally in love with him. It takes a strong woman to forgive what he did. And if you think she’s stupid, well, RiRi DGAF. That’s shorthand for “doesn’t give a f—.”
