Jessica Simpson is back in the news - and once again it's NOT because of her music. Her dad/manager Joe Simpson, who helps her run her fashion empire, has reportedly confessed to the family that he is gay. On top of that, reports indicate that Papa Joe has a 20-year-old boyfriend.

“Joe got the family together about two months ago and came out of the closet,” a Simpson source said. Tina Simpson filed for divorce on the basis of “discord or conflict of personalities” in Texas on Sept. 24.
Remember when Joe was busted for drunk driving earlier this summer? Reports have now surfaced that someone was with him and that it may have been the boyfriend.
UPDATE: While a rep for the family confirms Tina and Joe have filed for divorce, they insist all other rumors are false: ”It is an amicable split and there is no third party involved. Any other related allegations are completely false. The family appreciates your respect for their privacy at this time.”
