I bet Shakespear would be amazed to see how people are performing his most well known works these days.
2 schools, one in New York the other in Australia, collaborated to pull off performing Romeo and Juillet in a very unique way. Each school was in charge of presenting the play from the side of each of the families. (NY performed as the Capulets, Australia the Montagues) Using Skype, they were able to present the opposing side of the play to the audience in the other city via a projection in the background, while watching the local company perform live on stage.
Truely one of the most interesting uses of Skype I've ever seen!
