Clothing chain "H&M" better get the PR department lubed-up for action. A woman named Tori LaConsay is saying H&M stole her artwork that she painted on a mini-billboard in her hometown back in 2008, and then claimed the image as theirs when they used it on recent items (which they're clearly NOT paying her for). H&M's twitter & FB pages both were immediately attacked when the internet found out.
So either 1.) The H&M Art Department is in some serious trouble, or 2.) They seriously mis-underestimated the power of the internet. Either way; they look pretty silly right now, and I really hope the PR department handles this better than the Art department has.
Click HERE to see both Tori's art, and H&M's product (which undoubtably DOES bare a striking resemblance) to decide for yourself.
