Heidi & Spencer: "The Hills was fake."

From the file of "unclear-on-the-concept" Heidi & Spencer-flesh-colored-beard-don't-steal-my-crystals-Pratt decided it was time to come clean about their big fight on The Hills wayyy back in the day.

Either that, or they're getting sick of obscurity and wanted us to remember "The Hills" one last time before moving on with our lives.

"I was hell-bent on being the bad-guy character on the show," Spencer, 29, tells Us. "I got caught up in it."

His wife of three years Heidi, 26, confirms the proceedings were less than genuine. "Spencer and I never fight like that. Never," says Heidi, who recently "changed my last name to Pratt, so that's the biggest thing in my life."

Spencer is currently focused on getting his University of Southern California political science degree, not to mention making do with less money.

"I'm turning down paid appearances. We don't have celebrity-sized money anymore, but we're fine," he tells Us. "I'm happy to be around normal people these days!"

All I could think of after reading this nonsense was the WWE "It's still real to me!" kid. So let's just watch that & forget about Speidi forever.
