Why We Walk to End Alzheimer’s:
We walk…so future generations won’t have to face Alzheimer’s.
We walk…because we have the power to make a difference and fight back.
We walk…to honor and remember those we have lost.
We walk…to share our story of living with Alzheimer’s and join together to raise awareness and funds.
Across the nation, people are stepping up for their friends, mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, partners, sisters, and brothers. They’re leading the way to end a disease that directly affects over 5 million Americans.
Throughout September and October, in ten communities across western and central Washington, people are taking part in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. They’re inviting their friends, who are inviting their families, who are inviting their coworkers.
Together we can put an end to the 3rd leading cause of death in Washington State. Together we can reclaim the future. Start a team. Join a team. Walk to End Alzheimer’s. To read the personal stories of those who participate in Walk to End Alzheimer’s, CLICK HERE.
