Count Us In is King County’s annual effort to count youth who are unstably housed or homeless, started in 2011. Count Us In documents the nature and extent of homelessness among youth and young adults in King County, and builds better understanding about this unique population, their reasons for experiencing homelessness, and their needs. Data from Count Us In and the One Night Count informs the Comprehensive Plan to Prevent and End Youth Homelessness by 2020, helping us understand the scope of the problem and whether we are making progress toward solving it.
