Nicki Minaj and New York's Hot 97 have had their differences in the past. Mainly, the incident where Minaj decided to pull out of their Summer Jam 2012 concert after Lil' Wayne claimed one of their jocks, Peter Rosenburg, disrespected her song "Starships."
Well it seems the station had some more "disrespect" to share and Barbz didn't take too kindly. Ebro, the stations program director, suggested that her cancelling the concert and Peter Rosenburg's comments ruined her career, sighting the poor sales of her re-release Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded - The Re-Up as an example.
Her album only sold 36,000 in it's opening week and apparently left her a little hot headed. She proceeded to call the station to vent and tell them to immediately quit playing her music.
Ebro explains the rest.
