Friday TMZ reported Justin Bieber was cited for speeding after ten drivers called 911. Apparently attempting to avoid paparazzi, the Biebs was screaming down the freeway in his shiny Fisker Karma at over 100 MPH according to L.A. City Councilman David Zine who was one of the drivers that called the police on the pop star. JB's representatives have since disputed he was going that fast as the singer was only cited for going eighty. (However, nobody calls the police, especially ten people, for a car going 80 MPH)
Zine, formerly an LAPD patrol officer for 18 years, said that if he were on patrol Bieber would have been cited for reckless driving and put behind bars.
And, unfortunately for Justin, his plan didn't quite work out as the paparazzi not only caught up with him but also got a story and video out of it.
TMZ, also learned, following being cited the paparazzi continued to follow Bieber. He then called 911 and they all were pulled over further down the road where the paps were told to behave themselves, and there is now an investigation to determine if the paparazzi were creating a hazardous situation.
