1. Go Tree Lighting!
For 33 years the Festival of Trees has been marking the start of the holiday season and this year is no different! Get in the spirit in downtown Seattle at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel. Stroll though a display of designer trees beautifully decorated with unique themes and styles. There will be entertainment by the St. Jude Parish Sanctuary Choir, Christmas stories for the kids and homemade cookies! Festival of Trees raises funds for uncompensated care, which allows Seattle Children's to provide quality medical care to all children of the Region regardless of a family's ability to pay.

Vampire lovers bring your trivia knowledge, this is an entire night dedicated to one of the original hot vampires, Buffy the Vampire Slayer! Costumes are encouraged, prizes ahtat are actually cool will be awarded and there is a popcorn bar. Don't fret, there's a cash alcohol bar too. If you want to hone your Buffy knowledge, here's a tip. Innovation and imagination keep time in artists George Nelson clock designs. Let him inspire you and let your kids take their own crack at making a creative clock! Kids ages 4 to 12 are invited to stop by a project table and make a clock. So while you are enjoying fine art, your kids will be making it! You can even have the kids make real clocks for an extra fee! Their design will inspire and keep you on time for years to come!
