Of course you better be in your Easter bonnet with all the frills upon it! This Easter parade is even going to have a Easter Bonnet contest. Downtown Snohomish will be filled with flowers, eggs and floats for the 31st annual Snohomish Easter Parade. The Easter Bunny is even the parade host!

2. Go Mother Earth!
Celebrate Earth Day! Start with a Picnic for the Planet at Pike Place Market! Bring your own lunch or buy local from one of the many delish vendors. There will be live music from Seattle bluegrass band the Haggis Brothers and from Chris Ballew, member of alternative rock band The Presidents of the United States of America and Caspar Babypants. You even have a shot at being Earth Day King or Queen! Then walk up to Westlake Plaza and join in King County's Earth Day Expo! Learn how our community is protecting and preserving our planet and how you can help!

3. Go Drums!
It's the World Rhythm Festival and it will make you move!Drum, dance, listen and learn in OVER 120 performances from the world music traditions of Africa, Asia, Cuba, Brazil, India, America, the Middle East, and more. Workshops are even happening to teach young and old how ot dance and drum! Then perform your moves at Saturday night's dance party!

Saturday the sun will be shinning bright and temperatures in the upper 60's are possible! There's no better way to enjoy the weather than by getting out in it! King County has one of the nation's most extensive multi-use off-road systems with over 175 miles of trails! Hike, bike, walk, horseback ride even! From Bothell to Auburn to Seattle to the Cascades, there is a trail near you that will get you out in nature!

5.Go Scrabble!
Scrabble lovers are coming together for drink, fun and a good cause! Come flex your mental muscles and take on other scrabble players of all levels. The first round of the tournament will be at random. What better way to meet people After that players will be matched by their ranking. (1st place person plays 2nd place etc.) All ages are welcome and happy hour priced food will be available! Plus, for the 21+ crowd happy hour beverages will also be on the menu. ($4/$2 food menu, $3 wells and $1 off all beer and wine.) This weekend's competition will benefit the Books to Prisoners Foundation.
