Go Eat Your Words
Eat a book today! Maybe try S'more and Peace, Alice in Wonderbread, The Bun Also Rises or Goodnight Moon Pie? It's the 6th Annual Seattle Edible Book Festival! This festival celebrates food, literature and the people who love them both! The Seattle Center for Book Arts has asked foodies, book artists, chefs, bakers, librarians, kids and punsters alike to put on their thinking cap and come up with the most creative literary culinary treat! The edible art on display may be a pun off of a title or refer to a scene or character or may look like a book itself! Every type of book will be represented and sculpted from a smorgasbord of foodstuffs. Don't be late! All the books will be eaten with tea, coffee and milk at the end of the event.
