Take your favorite childhood tales, add a twist and combine with acrobatics, tightwire, unicycle, aerial arts, juggling and humor and you’ve got “Once Upon a Circus”! Travel with the School of Acrobatics & New Circus Arts to a magical land of circus and childhood bedtime stories from Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Anderson. It’s a joyous celebration wowing the youngest to the oldest audience member! This is the new kind of circus! Enjoy!

3. Go Winter Brew!
You’ve been gorging yourself on comfort food, now you need to find the perfect comfort beer to wash it all down! It’s the Washington Beer Commission’s Winter Beer Festival! There will be over 30 Washington breweries on had to showcase the best winter brew the NW has to offer! Taste dark malty stouts, robust winter warmers, barrel-aged gems and many more. There will be beer and chocolate parings and find pub cuisine on hand too!

4. Go Crafting!
The Urban Craft Uprising is no your grandma’s craft show. Think hand crafted goods made by hipsters, artists and trend setters. This holiday season give gifts that are unique & utterly cool! There is truly something for everyone from clothing to jewelry to toys to housewares to art to food and everything in between! This is a juried show so only the best of the best is chosen to be part. You won’t be able to leave empty handed, trust me.

5. Go Dance!
Need a hot date night? Take a ballroom dance lesson! The Abbey Ballroom is housed in a beautifully renovated historic church with high ceilings, gleaming fir floors and tall windows. It’s the perfect atmosphere to get swept away in the romance of ballroom. Take a lesson with a group from 7pm – 8pm then stick around to practice what you’ve learned! Experts and beginners take the floor together from 8pm – 11pm to whirl, twirl and just have a great time!
